I LOVE CAPITAL LETTERS

SO I love you all so so so so much! Today has been the most hectic p day I've ever had in my life and it is currently8:30 at night and we have NO time to email BUT we might be given some extra time to email tomorrow so that will be nice! But I'll just hit some of the highlights of the week.

On tuesday we had exchanges with the zone leaders and I was in the area Kluff with Elder Matlala the ZL and he had no appointments so we went tracting in a rich white person area for 4 HOURS and i've found out how mean white people are ;) Their house are all just so massive and gated and so you have to ring little buzzers before you can even get in and they always just hang up the buzzer right when you say the word missionary. hahaha so usually it is impossible to contact anyone in areas like that BUT we were able to take 3 peoples numbers down! Which might not sound like much but it's actually a HUGE accomplishment! hahaha

In our own area we were able to get a total of 9 NEW CONTACTS! 2 of them are families!!! I'm just soooo stoked out of my mind about it and I just want to sit here and write and tell you everything but I can't :( But basically what really helped is we found this less active guy named Nathi and he's just one of the sickest people of I've ever met. He just makes everyone laugh sooo fetching hard and he knows EVERYONE in Molweni. We actually got him to come to church too which was awesome cause he hasn't been in forever. And we brought him around with us for 2 days for lessons and he showed us some of his friends and those are the people that we contacted! It was just soooo nice to meet some new people! I'm really really stoked to see where these people go!

We had to go to Durban today to get our car serviced cause it was having a lot of problems and we had to go during rush hour which was HORRIBLE!! South African traffic is absolutely horrible. And then we had to drive BACK to our area to grab some stuff at our boarding and then we had to go BACK to durban cause we were having an activity at President's house and we still don't have our car so we had to borrow one and we have to go BACK to durban in the morning duing rush hour traffic <3 and get them again. so it's been suuuper fuuuunnnnnn ;)

ALSO the weather has been HECTIC! You know The other side of heaven movie when there is a MASSIVE storm??? That's about what it looked like here one night. And there were trees falling on cars and stuff and some people in durban were actually killed from trees and yeah the weather is HECTIC. I think that I'm going to break this caps lock button. I've been touching it WAY too much today!

OKAY I LOVE YOU ALL I'M SOORRY I CANT TELL YOU MORE BUT I WILL TELL YOU ALL THE DEETSTOMORROW!!! :D

WUVS.

HUGS AND KISSES

BUG OF THE WEEK

"There are soooo many bugs in this area! This is a millipede.
I think...but this is a small one...I've seen WAAAAYYY bigger ones than this...
But i'm so scared of them....."

This concludes another BUG OF THE WEEK!

Weathering weather

Hello my favorite family! You're my favorite family because you are my only family so that's why you're my favorite! :)

I just now decided that I am not going to fix any spelling errors in this email because I am soooo lazy. :) So get what you get and you don't throw a fit ;)

A lot of good stories this week! :)

So if you recall back to my last letter. I talked about a random little girl on the streets running up to me and head butting me and punching me maliciously. (i totaly knew how to spell maliciously without spellcheck so be proud) WELL I recently just had another experience with this same little hooligan. She was at church and as soon as she saw me she ran up to me. I braced myself for what I was sure to be another bone crushing head butt. But then she just gave me the biggest hug ever and she sat on my lap and for the entire 3 hour period of church she just followed me EVERYWHERE like a little puppy dog! Literally the entire time. And she cried when she had to leave me...so I don't know what I did...but I guess it worked....?

hahaha So another story is about a lesson we taught to a less active family. So we went to this family with another Member Named Brother Ntkozo. We brought him because the father has a tough time speaking english. He mostly just wan'ts to speak zulu. So when we got there we just asked if they had any concerns or questions that they wanted to let us know about. So the baba (father) just starts going off in zulu for literally 20 minutes. And obviously i couldn't understand the words that he was saying but somehow I knew that he was talking about the whole language issue at church. Sure enough Ntkozo translated for us and told us that he's frustrated that They just speak english the whole time and everything like that. This is always a HUGE issue in the Zulu culture and it always gets me a bit rilled up...hahaha. But we were just about to start addressing his concerns when all of a sudden this HUGE crack of thunder shattered my ears and the lights went out...yeah lightning struck the house...so finally we got the lights working again and then all of a sudden it struck AGAIN and the lights went out again!!! Lighting doesn't strike the same place twice??? HA LIES! I'm pretty sure that it was a lightning storm from hell and satan was trying to stop us from teaching this family! ;) I'm going to start keeping a counter for how many times lightning almost kills me on Mission. Hahaha but we just taught the rest of the lesson in the dark and I don't really know if it got through to them becuase there were jsut so many distractions! We will go back this week and we are going to try to help them remember how they felt during their baptism and see how that goes!

Lightning Attacks: 4 so far.

There are goats everywhere here. and cows.

This family bought a whole bucket of KFC wings and we all ate them in like 3 minutes...hahaha

Elder Waeni let some little girls put makeup all over his face...I'll send pics...they're horrible! hahaha!

We were driving one day and we saw a soccer pitch and the whole place was packed with people so we just went there and talked to some people and everytime that a team would score people went CRAZY!!! Like CRAZY CRAZY!! People were running onto the field and just jumping on eachother and doing backflips and honking their cars and throwing their drinks! hahaha it was just so much fun! I love soccer so much now! :)

I will now talk about my favorite lesson this week: So if you remember Sne, he was the less active that came back to church my first week here that bore his testimony and it was just really really cool! But now we are like best friends and he's getting interviewed to recieve the priesthood which is SO cool! But we went over and had a lesson about the oath and covenant of the priesthood and it just was a great lesson! The spirit was there and we were able to really talk about how important the priesthood is! So that was great! :)

So for the last story of the day: Yesterday we had lunch at our branch presidents house. His family are the only white people in the branch. They live in this NICE NICE NICE NICE neighborhood. with huuuuge houses. So we went there and the table was set all nice and the forks were in the proper place and everything and I realized that I hadn't eaten a meal like that in FOREVER! I'm so used to just sitting on the couch all relaxed with your bowl of food and everyone is just loud and going crazy. So just sitting at the table all quiet, doing things the 'proper way' was horrible... I will never ever eat dinner at a table again ;)

That's about it for this week! I love you all so much! I'm sorry for the overload of photography BUT you know me, that's my life :) I LOVE YA!!!

Stay sweet, stay safe, stay swell!

Love, +E*E+

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines day! :) Write someone a letter, buy someone chocolates, give someone a hug, smile at someone, tell someone that those shoes look nice, spread the love because love is the best thing that we can give! :) Other than the gospel...psych because the gospel IS LOVE!! ;)

We had a ton of meetings this week! One of which was Zone Conference! The main topic of the whole thing was to Preach Repentance and Baptize Converts. The first presidency reeaaally wants missionaries to focus on new people instead of so much less active work. Sometimes that can be hard becuase we want to strengthen the branch before we bring in new people but we have a loooot of part member families in our branch so we are going to see if we can teach some of the nonmembers in the families! Pray for us! :)

This random little girl on the streets ran at me and head butted me in the legs and started punching me so that happened.

Our tire went flat after zone conference so that happened.

I lost my backpack and I was so sad but then I found it so that happened.

It's been SOOOO foggy here lately which is way cool! But it's suuuper creepy at night driving through foggy forests and whatnot...so that happened.

Every one calls me Mulungu which is white person so I learned umuntu mnyama which means black person and they laugh so hard! ;) So that happened :)

So a lot happened this week but that's the most part of it! :)

Something really cool that I like about this district is that we have nightly devotional together every night and we go around and share a tender mercy that the lord has shown us that day! it's really nice! You start seeing the hand of the lord in your day sooo much! But something that I want to share with you guys this week is that I'm so grateful that the Lord keeps me safe. This area can be pretty dangerous with crime and also the roads and everything like that but the lord knows that us as missionaries are on his errand and as long as we are doing what we are supposed to, he will keep us safe! and if not that MMA fighter showed us some self defense moves that we can use.... ;) I'm just kidding mom I won't do that ;)

But I love you all so much and I hope that you have a lekker week! :)

Stay safe, stay smart, stay swell! :)

Love you!
